Fenton Township needs pleasant, hard-working, dependable people to work as Election Inspectors. This is a wonderful way to meet and work with some remarkable people, provide a valuable service to the community and earn a little extra cash. On Election Day, inspectors are assigned to one of the Township's six precincts, working the polls from open to close. With the new early voting option, inspectors are also needed to work one or more 8-hour shifts in the nine days leading up to any statewide or federal election.

Qualifications
   U.S. Citizen; 16 years of age or older; Registered Voter in Michigan, (if 18 or older).

Pay
   Election Day: $200.00 for Election Inspectors. Chairpersons earn $250.00.

   Early Voting Days:  $12.00 per hour for Election Inspectors: $15.00 per hour for Chairpersons

Hours
   Election Day:  6:00am - 10:00pm (approximate), with two meal breaks.

   Early Voting Days:  8:30am - 5:30pm (most days), with one meal break.

Training
Election Inspector certification training is required. Fenton Township will be hosting the following training sessions at the Fenton Township Civic Community Center:

               Wednesday June 5, 2024, 9:00am - 1:00pm

               Tuesday June 11, 2024, 6:00pm - 10:00pm

               Wednesday June 19, 2024, 6:00pm - 10:00pm
